Cross Creek Horse Training

Christa Smith is the owner and operator of Cross Creek Horse Training. She oversees the training of each horse personally as head trainer. The most important part of a good training program is consistency, results, and having a willing horse who understands what is being asked of them. She wants to see the horse improve daily but without pushing them so much that it is at the expense of their health or willingness. We offer: Full-service horse training: from colt starting and tune-ups, all the way to the show pen, Haul in lessons so we can help work on both you and your horse, Long-term and short-term boarding including overnight layovers, Sale prep and consignment and Training down the trail.

“ Christa is very knowledgeable about most anything equine related. She has tuned up a couple of horses for me and gave my grandson riding lessons. I recently had a knee replacement and needed to find another horse. I told Christa what I needed and that this would be my last horse and I needed a unicorn. She found him for me!!
