About

From a young age Jamie always wanted to work with individuals that have developmental and intellectual disabilities. After graduating from High School Jamie decided that she wanted to become more involved in enriching the lives of children and adults, through horses. Jamie looked for a way that she could incorporate both of her passions together when she came across PATH Intl. Since learning about PATH Intl., she has successfully completed their instructor program and loves her career. Everyday Jamie is able to see the benefits, dedication and growth that her students acquire. Her students leave with a smile and excitement over their achievements with horses. Jamie hopes to continue building strong relationships with her students, and to raise awareness regarding the therapeutic benefits that horses provide. She is now the Barn Manager and Instructor at The New York Equestrian Center.

Located at 633 Eagle Ave. West Hempstead, NY 11552, next to 775-acre Hempstead Lake State Park, Equestrian services have been provided at this location for nearly 100 years, and are a family tradition. The expanded facility featuring green designs, a spacious layout, and the continued professionalism and wonderful customer service that the community has come to enjoy, it is now better than ever. Our upstate facility will complements our facility in West Hempstead. We have acquired an additional 23 plus acres of Horse property which will include multiple riding rings for all disciplines as well as acres and acres of pastures for our horses to stretch their legs and have a place to enjoy green grass, fresh air and unlimited love and care. Our upstate facility includes a 15,000 sq. ft. barn with stalls, a 5 Bedroom House for extended stays.
