Located in Benton, Louisiana, just north of the Shreveport-Bossier City Metropolitan Area, Red River Equine Hospital serves equine communities in Louisiana, East Texas, Southeastern Oklahoma and Southern Arkansas. We are happy to treat horses of ALL disciplines, from miniature ponies to Thoroughbred racehorses. Our dedicated team of veterinarians and assistants are here to provide your horse with the quality care it deserves.

Facilities include: 5,600 sq ft covered lameness area, 16,500 sq ft covered arena for lameness evaluation under saddle, two treatment/radiology rooms, 2,000 sq ft surgical center which houses, two surgical suites for both elective and emergency surgical procedures, three recovery stalls, a standing surgical procedure suite, a pharmacy and laboratory, 6 intensive care stalls, 15 general use stalls and 13 runs and paddocks on site for mares and foals or other horses requiring turn out.
