Bottisham Heath Stud is completely self-contained, peaceful, and provides a welcoming atmosphere for all owners, potential owners and their horses. It is ideally suited to keeping the horses happy and helping them to achieve their full potential, with Robert’s expertise of course! For the 2024 season, Robert will train around 40 horses. He is a great believer in communicating regularly with his owners to discuss daily training and future plans. Frequent written reports about the horses and many telephone calls are the order of the day here at Robert Cowell Racing. We all look forward to welcoming new horses, new owners into our stable throughout the season and lots of winners on our scoreboard!

Robert Cowell Racing is based at Bottisham Heath Stud, situated just five miles outside of Newmarket. A family owned stud set within 180 acres of post and rail paddocks, with its own private poly track gallop, tranquil walk ways and stabling for 75 horses. Also including starting gates, several Claydon horse walkers, and a large office with owner facilities. It is a beautiful, peaceful and safe environment for horses to be trained in, with the added bonus of ‘time out’ in the paddocks for horses to unwind and relax when needed. As well as this unique setting, we have easy, quick access to the vast array of gallops in Newmarket, the headquarters of horseracing.
