My ethos is ‘small yard, big results’ and this is down to the bespoke, tailor-made care each individual horse is given. I look at each horse and assess their needs, from their training programme and race planning to their dietary requirements and healthcare routines – every horse is looked at individually and a bespoke programme is formed to meet their every need to ensure their maximum potential. I have built a great team around me and everyone in the yard has the horse’s care and well-being at the core of what they do. It is important to me that my owners are involved in every step of their racehorse’s journey, and I encourage them to visit the yard often and feel part of our team, as well as enjoy a day at the races. I’ve been told “my horses really want to run and look like they enjoy their racing”, and that is exactly what I’m aiming for every day.

Nestled within the heart of Newmarket, yet secluded enough to offer an air of tranquility to the horses, Kremlin Cottage Stables has a host of modern conveniences in order to provide horses with the best opportunity for success; including horse walkers, a lunge ring, a private trotting ring and boxes with infra-red lamps. The yard is situated within close proximity to the state-of-the-art Jockey Club Estates, offering 2,500 acres of maintained training grounds, 50 miles of turf gallops and 14 miles of artificial tracks each varying in length, surface and gradient. The quality of the gallops is carefully protected to ensure the highest quality surface every single day. We also have invaluable training aids available to us, from equine swimming pools, spas, water treadmills to massage therapists, dentists, farriers and world-class vets based in Newmarket.
